Preselba 3, 2011, acrylic on panel, 12″ x 12″ (SOLD)

Also this month, I am honored to be donating Oblik 10, 2009 (SOLD) to a fundraising event for the vicitms of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami:

It will be available for auction during:

Turning Art into Hope: An Evening for Japan

Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 5-8pm
In the space generously donated by Left Coast Galleries
12324 Ventura Boulevard, Studio City, CA  91604

This fundraiser has been organized by The Art Spotter with 100% of the proceeds to benefit Mercy Corps and Peace Winds in Japan.

Mercy Corps is working with longtime partner Peace Winds, which has rushed teams to tsunami-affected areas with shelter materials, water, food and other survival materials. The number one priority for Mercy Corps and Peace Winds is to provide life-saving basics to help people in desperate need.

In the longer term, Mercy Corps aims to help earthquake-affected families rebuild their lives. Mercy Corps is taking steps to make their signature Comfort for Kids program available in Japan. Through Comfort for Kids, they have provided post-trauma assistance to children and their caregivers around the world. Donations to Mercy Corps help meet the needs of families affected by the devastation.
