Recently I was “discovered” by interior designer, Lindsay Hunter. She spent a considerable amount of time researching artists in the Los Angeles area to provide content for a new project she is launching. As a designer, Lindsay has had the opportunity to decorate client’s interiors with furniture and art but found the process of searching for that perfect painting to be a daunting experience. This gave her the idea to put together the art consulting site called The Art Spotter. This service is offered to anyone, including other designers, with help finding the perfect piece of art for a home or office. By pooling together artist into one place, Lindsay will be able to offer art by size, price and subject matter to collectors and designers not familiar with navigating the art world. Lindsay told me that going to galleries and studios, while exciting, is a time consuming process. She visited me in my studio about a month ago and selected four paintings to be featured on her site. I’m excited to be working with her on the West Coast and with Kate Singleton of Art Hound on the East Coast.
Also check out a new site created by RISD grads called Dropr I was recently invited to join. This site has very high quality images of my most recent series of work called Preselba. Here are images of this new work just completed:
